Japan 2.5D Stage Play World:Anime, Manga & Game Theater Online is bringing Japan’s 2.5D stage performance shows to the World. Anime introduces us to some very new concepts and ideas. Some religious and cultural concepts are distinctly Japanese and help to broaden our social and cultural world views. Others, while familiar, may still be relatively new. One such concept is science. In this panel, we will discuss the 1) special relativity of Gatchaman and Gunbuster, and the Cosmic Microwave Background, 2) the time travel and Many-World’s Quantum Mechanics of Steins;Gate, 3) Macross Space Folding and Protoculture, and a bit more. This panel is a one-hour romp which is one part physics lecture and one part geek-out session.

Breaking Into Hobbyist Voice Acting! – Panel 2 (Room 202 BCD) – Fri – 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Much of the anime community is interested in the voice acting profession, but not everyone has the opportunity or the experience to voice act professionally. This panel will provide information about how to get started voice acting for your own enjoyment. Jaden Towe has been an amateur voice actor for over 3 years and has experience with several different types of projects as well as where to find them. If you have questions that aren’t answered in the presentation, feel free to ask them during the Q&A towards the end of the panel!
