ZAQ

ZAQ is a prolific anisong singer, lyricist, composer, and arranger who wrote for many anisong singers before debuting herself.

She made her major debut with “Sparkling Daydream” in 2012, the opening theme to Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. Since then, she’s performed the themes to Classroom of the Elite, Concrete Revolutio, Flip Flappers, Food Wars! The Third Plate, The Magnificent KOTOBUKI, Maria the Virgin Witch, Rail Wars, Trinity Seven, and much more.

In 2017, she provided the theme song lyrics, music, and arrangement for Animelo Summer 2017 -THE CARD-, the largest anisong event in Japan!

AT ANIME FRONTIER
ZAQ will perform as part of Anime Diva Night on Friday and appear for an Anime Frontier panel and signing on Saturday. More details coming soon!

ABOUT ANIME DIVA NIGHT
Anime Diva Night at Anime Frontier is a free concert event co-created with Japanese music company Lantis. Anime Diva Night will feature performers Ayaka Ohashi and ZAQ for an evening dedicated to anisong hits. The event will be set inside the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena, a historic venue which has been home to storied acts including Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and most recently BTS. General admission to Anime Diva Night is free. An Anime Frontier badge is required.

ABOUT LANTIS
Music company Lantis was founded in 1999 in Tokyo with a focus on anisong music, and it has published two decades of hit music, including themes from anime titles Azumanga Daioh, Bungo Stray Dogs, Food Wars!, Free!, GIRLS und PANZER, Genshiken, THE iDOLM@STER, Love Live!, Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Rozen Maiden, and Violet Evergarden. Lantis frequently collaborates with Anime Frontier’s sister show, Anime NYC, and the Anime Diva Night concert series originated at Anime NYC in 2017.
